Researching artists I sometimes think, okay so these are artists well into their career and practice and you see their development and growth. But young artists can be so innovative and fresh.

This is a curated art/clothing/jewellery store which is so ‘fresh’ although I’m sure there’s a cool word I don’t know to describe it. Looking at these designers, they are all referencing a similar thing. Stuff, and the reuse of stuff, and the combine of junk with luxury, which is moving us into a more ethical practice. isn’t it?
They are completely referencing the idea of object vitalism. Adding value again. And also asking the correct money for these items, we demand such cheap goods and they lack value as such, and so do the humans behind the production. With this well curated collection, value is returned to the maker and the objects themselves. And the pieces are completely amazing.
Also underlying a lot of these pieces is nostalgia. The millennial nostalgia. Flip phones, belly bars, tongue studs, things that were so cool when we were teenagers.
