Experimentation in the garden

I made a few more pinch pots for another home firing.
1. Push the pot into the Hollybrooks brick. 2. Wedge wood ash from the first firing into 50/50 at Thomas and native clay. 3. Grind found ceramics and wedge into at Thomas. 4. Slab bowl which had been pushed into the brick. 5. Painted red native clay and water mixture onto pinch pot.

The press bowl cracked as it dried, I should have lined or put wd-40 on the bowl. I was kind of grateful because I thought it was ugly.

 Fragment inspiration

Liz Larner, I found her work in my book Vitamin C:clay and ceramic
She covers the works with epoxy, or embeds them with minerals and stones

She works on simple slab forms, this could be a great way to document a landscape, sprinkling found stone-pebbles, or use an appropriate glaze colour, or mix clay with sand from different areas.

Could this be done with my found glass?
