Ceramics - Just Fired - Reflection

 

These are the precursor to my broken body jugs, my first attempts at a water pitcher and matching jug. With the idea of re-scale. The proportions of the jugs are a little wacky, but this obviously takes time to improve and in any case it led me to the broken body jugs, which i love and really enjoyed making.

The second vase is a little boring (to me) but it is an extremely nice weight. The straighter sided vase is a little heavy, i should have trimmed the walls more. I also need to relearn throwing by my fingertips which I haven’t had a chance to do (i was only using knuckles which is why I couldn’t work with small amounts of clay!)
