Group Crit 3D

Because I am part time I don’t often get a chance to discuss my work and run it by other students, bounce ideas around etc. I often have to chat with my husband, and we have very different artistic preferences. So to have a group crit was really a great experience for me, this is really one of the reasons I wanted to come to art school.

Having discussed my idea of preparing meals with my lists, and making a place setting for this etc. I had some helpful feed back.

Theaster Gates, soul food

Bucket lists; social engagement; idealisation of life; acting out other peoples lists

Hand writing; forgery; putting faces to a list, but not those who wrote them; making tiles from lists; 

Short film; making meals, match the list, completion of their list by buying the food and completing the meal relieves their anxiety and Zeigarnik effect.
