Felt vessel
I have felted some lambs wool that I knitted up on my knitting machine, I knitted a triangle piece as I thought this could be a simple way to ensure dimensionality in the stitched form.
I then folded the piece of felted fabric into an envelope shape using suture like stitching. The vessel is formed and positioned into a V-shape.
The idea was to reference the ?inevitable? stitching up after childbirth. The use of a soft and pliable material mimics the natural softness of flesh.
